Despite a rocky start to the week, Cancun International continues with the mass arrival of travelers. As the busy Spring Break – Easter holiday season continues, so do record flights.

On Tuesday, the airport’s managing company ASUR reported 503 flights in and out of the airport, with 359 of them international.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (Asur) also reported 520 flights on Monday, after a momentary pause in operations due to a false alarm. On Monday, one of the least busy travel days of the week, Cancun International recorded 185 international flights, 182 of them, U.S based.

On March 26, the airport had one of its busiest days this month with 613 flights between 40 airlines. ASUR reports a majority of national travelers are arriving from Aguascalientes, Bajío, Chihuahua, Ciudad Juárez, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Mérida, Mexicali, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Reynosa, San Luis Potosí, Tijuana, Tuxtla, Veracruz and Villahermosa.

International flights include travelers arriving from Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Birmingham, Bogotá, Boston, Bristol, Buffalo, Calgary and Caracas, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Edmonton, Istanbul, Philadelphia, Flores, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Guatemala, Halifax, Hartford and Houston.

As well as Indianapolis, Havana, Las Vegas, Lima, Lisbon, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Managua, Medellín, Miami, Milan, Minneapolis, Montreal, Nashville, New Orleans and New York, Orlando, Panama, Paris, Phoenix, Quebec, Raleigh, Sacramento, Salt Lake, San Francisco, San Jose, San Luis, Seattle, Tampa, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington, Winnipeg and Zürich.

Visitors to the Cancun International Airport are arriving on Aeroméxico, Air Canada, Air France, Air Portugal, Air Transat, Alaska, American, Avianca, Avior and British Airways.

They are also landing on Cóndor, Conviasa, Copa, Delta, Edelweiss, Frontier, Iberojet, Jet Blue, Latam, Magni, Neos, Sky, Spirit, Southwest, Sun Country, Sunwing, Swoop, TAG, TUI, Turkish, United, Viva Aerobús, Viva Air, Volaris, West Jet, Wingo and World2Fly.
