The small-group adventure travel operator and community tourism pioneer is offering a wide range of FAMs for travel advisors this year, in destinations including Vietnam, Spain, Borneo and South Africa. G Adventures made the announcement last week at its webinar, attended by 400+ Canadian travel agents.

G Adventures’ FAM series dovetails with its Canadian ‘Agents of Change’ program, open to advisors who book their customers on life-changing G Adventures trips year-round.

David Green, managing director for G Adventures in Canada, says G Adventures’ agent trips aren’t ordinary fams. Agents have the opportunity to see firsthand how the company’s style of community tourism changes the lives of people in the destinations it travels to, as well as the lives of its travellers as they experience the trips themselves.

The fam trips are one of the best ways for agents to understand the impact they can have when choosing the operator for their clients, who will also have the time of their lives exploring the world, he adds.

Agents who are unable to gain a spot on one of these exclusive fam trips are still able to experience G Adventures’ tours by taking advantage of the ‘up to 50% off’ preferred agent discount.

To apply for a 2023 fam space, agents should join the G Adventures’ Agents of Change Facebook page for more details on how to complete the application by Feb. 13, 2023. Successful applicants will be notified during the first week of March.
