Canadian residents no longer need to show a PCR test before to entering Cuba

NO PCR test prior entering Cuba (for Canadian residents traveling direct from Canada in Canadian flights).

No quarantine if they go to an all-inclusive hotel (they can use all the facilities of the hotel, but the first 24 hours clients must stay at their booked hotels, wear a mask and social distance till they get the results (24hrs) of the FREE PCR test they receive at the Cuban airport upon arrival).

Upon arrival, all passengers must undergo temperature screening, take a FREE Covid-19 PCR test, and hand out a Health Declaration Form (given on board of the flight).

The PCR test Canadians need to re-enter back in Canada is done right at the hotels and it cost: 30:00 USD (payable locally by visa or debit/visa or credit card from Canadian Banks).

In summary, a regular passenger going from Canada to Cuba in an all-inclusive package they just need their valid passport, tourist card (included) and covid insurance (also included with the tourist packages or buy it locally at the airport in Cuba for 30:00 USD: it covers up to 21 days stay, clients planning to stay longer can buy consecutive packages to cover their stay).

Due to the current stage of the pandemic and with the safety of visitors and locals in mind, the Cuban authorities have limited the mobility of the clients and the range of the excursions will be restricted to the tourist areas of Varadero and Cayo Coco (Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Cruz), this means that tourists will enjoy the tours, marinas, shopping centers, restaurants, etc, within those tourist zones, they cannot visit the rest of the island.

The baggage limitation that was in place for the passengers arriving through Cayo Coco and Varadero airports is cancelled, starting September 7th, 2021(00:00 local time). The amount and specifications of the accompanying baggage will be determined by the policy stablished by each airline.

Cubans and residents in Cuba planning to stay at private homes with their families will need to quarantine 14 days at specific government designated hotels, quarantine must take place at the first point of entry in Cuba.
