Porter Airlines
Porter Airlines is once again offering flights to and from Halifax and Quebec City

Porter restarted service on September 13th from Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ)  to Ottawa, Montreal and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) also returns with service to Billy Bishop. This takes place almost 18 months after suspending flights due to COVID-19 public health and travel restrictions.

Porter first restarted operations on September 8, in Toronto, Ottawa, Thunder Bay and Montreal. In the coming days Porter will add St. John’s and Moncton back into its schedule. Effective September 17 Porter will add back several U.S. destinations including Boston, Chicago, New York and Washington. And flights to other year-round destinations are set to resume as of October 6.

The initial flight schedule, including flight frequency, can be found at flyporter.com.

We’re excited to be returning to Atlantic Canada and Quebec City, reuniting with our passengers and team members,” said Michael Deluce, president and CEO, Porter Airlines. “We’ll be expanding service to even more destinations in the coming weeks.

Porter has strengthened its existing standards with a focus on high levels of sanitization in order to protect the health of its passengers and team members. More information about Porter’s Healthy Flights program is here. Porter was also the first Canadian airline to announce a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for its team members.

Porter bookings made before September 30 are eligible to change or cancel with no fees. Passengers also have the option to book a flight with the full refund option for $40 plus taxes. The refund option entitles customers to receive a refund, including base fare, taxes and fees, for their booking upon advance cancellation of their flight for any reason.
