Ocean by H10 Hotels continues offering flexible quarantine and cancelation policies

Although news of lifting restrictions are released daily, Ocean by H10 Hotels feels the need to continue offering flexible quarantine and cancelation policies. 

 

Ocean Hotels will waive any cancellation policies, valid until April 30th, 2022 under the conditions listed below: 

  • If the arriving guest has had Covid and can provide test proof or medical certificate
  • In case of death or accident and can document support evidence
  • If guests become ill prior to travel and can provide medical proof
  • Airline last minute itinerary reschedule (Within 5 days prior to travel)
  • Sudden airport or border closure due to weather or force majeure
  • If immigration officers in countries of Mexico, Dominical Republic or Jamaica deny guests access to destination
  • Guests may cancel within 24 hours of arrival or less without any penalties
  • Free cancelations under the mentioned circumstances will be available until April 30th, 2022. 

 

FAQ about COVID-19 Testing at Ocean by H10 Hotels

What kind of testing is available at Ocean Hotels? The rapid test (Antigen) and or the PCR (Molecular test). 

Will there be a cost for the guest? Yes, guests will cover the cost of testing (rates below). 

How will customers book the appointment? Guests will schedule appointments upon arrival with concierge services and select a time and day for prior to departure testing. 

Positive Test Results (Valid for all nationalities and markets of origin). What are the steps to follow once a guest tests positive? Guests will be able to remain in the property. If guests’ health or travel insurance does not cover the stay; following the strict protocols of local health authorities, Ocean Hotels will provide up to 10 days free accommodation. Guests will stay in absolute comfort quality isolated rooms. The Hotels will provide distressed rates for the rest of family members.

Groups

Current flexible cancellation policy for groups paid that travel from October 1st to December 22nd 2021.

Effective for new bookings after October 1st, and for Travel window December 23rd - June 30th 2022, the following conditions apply: 

  • No penalty up to 45 days prior to arrival
  • 44 days to 20 days prior to arrival 30% maximum of the group can cancel with no penalty
  • 19 days to 08 days prior to arrival 20% of the group can cancel with no penalty
  • 7 days to 0 days 100% full penalty applies
