It’s halfway to St. Patrick’s Day and that has CIE Tours encouraging travel advisors to think Ireland … and more.

The company’s Irish roots date back to 1932 when it was founded by Ireland’s national road and rail service.

The tour operator has several incentives for Group bookings including a promotion for Irish Supreme, brand new from CIE Tours for 2025.

The upscale nine-day tour “is for travellers seeking the extraordinary”, with iconic five-star hotels featuring deluxe rooms, fine dining, spas and more. Hotels include The Shelburne in Dublin (two nights), Lyrath Estate Hotel & Spa in Kilkenny (one night), Hayfield Manor Hotel in Cork (one night), The Europe Hotel & Resort in Killarney (two nights), Dromoland Castle Hotel (one night) and The College Green Hotel in Dublin (one night).

When travel advisors book 10 or more travellers as a group onto an Irish Supreme departure, they can earn a Cdn$800 booking bonus. Bookings must be made by Nov. 27, 2024 to qualify. All departures are small groups limited to 26 guests.

Other destinations featured in CIE Tours’ Groups incentive for travel advisors include Iceland. Agents can earn a Cdn$800 booking bonus plus get 18% commission when booking guided holidays to Iceland for groups of 10 or more. “No money down at booking – zero risk for you,” as CIE Tours tells agents with this promotion.

A similar incentive is available for Group bookings to Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy and Spain, with an incentive worth Cdn$600 for 2025 travel to these CIE Tours destinations. The booking deadline is Nov. 27, 2024.

New Brochure With CAD Pricing

In other news, a new brochure from CIE Tours will be polybagged with Travelweek’s Fall 2024 edition of Travel Professional, coming out September 19.

CIE Tours’ Marilyn Carolan tells Travelweek the brochure is Canada-specific, with pricing in Canadian dollars, and features the company’s four new tours: Dublin Daytripper, Irish Supreme, Best of Spain and Classic Sicily

Each tour “is very unique and fills a specific purpose in our product line,” says Carolan.

For example, the new Dublin Daytripper expands CIE Tours’ popular Daytripper Collection, a selection of five ‘hub-and-spoke’ tours that are perfect for converting cruisers to tour passengers. Says Carolan: “Guests unpack once in a wonderfully located hotel in the heart of each city and have daily excursions to attractions in the neighbouring regions.”

Airfare Promotion

CIE Tours has also launched a limited-time flight deal on a wide variety of departures in 2025 from most U.S. and select Canadian gateways.

Clients purchasing tours with airfare will receive one free roundtrip flight for their companion on 17 guided vacations to Ireland, Scotland, England and Iceland.

The promotion is valid for new bookings made September 3 – 30, 2024, for travel January 1 – July 31, 2025.
