Air Transat
A contactless experience at the airport

Air Transat offers a new tool to validate health documents, which can be accessed while checking in online. Although currently in its test phase and available only for certain destinations, this tool will be extended to Air Transat entire network in the coming months.

Are your customers flying from Canada to the United States or to Canada from the United States, the United Kingdom, France or Spain?

Before heading to the airport, they’ll need to check in online and upload their COVID-19 health document (PCR or antigen test result) to make passing through the airport a cinch.

 

Advantages:

  • Timesaving, since their COVID-19 health documents will already have been validated before arriving to the airport
  • Peace of mind, knowing that their documents meet the applicable entry requirements before arriving to the airport
  • A contactless experience at the airport

 

It’s easy! These steps are all it takes:

  • STEP 1 - Access their COVID-19 health document

Your customers must ensure their COVID-19 health document meets the requirements of their destination country. Air Transat practical guide has all the details.

  • STEP 2 - Check in online and upload their document, or scan the QR code

When prompted to upload a health document during the online check-in process, your customers must use the camera on their tablet or smartphone to scan the QR code.

  • STEP 3 - Print their boarding pass or download it to their mobile device

Once at the airport, your customers just need to drop off any baggage to check in. And off they go!

 

This and other features will be rolled out across Air Transat network to simplify the management of health documents.
